Cold Overnight Temps

Temps: -14C as I arrived on the hill at 11am. I left it this late hoping it would warm up from the -17C @ 8.am when I went to get my coffee. Brrr it was a chilly one. Mid Mountain was saying it was -22C up there. Honestly It didn’t actually feel that cold once you got wrapped up and warmed up.

Snow Conditions: Crisp, and squeaky snow skied great on the groomed runs. They were hard and fast and with so few people out and about it was a case of lapping around the hill. Probably ski more in 3 hrs here than a whole day at Turoa, no queues long runs, and few people. I’m having a blast for sure. Cold temps are set to ease tonight somewhat with the weather looking very warm for the weekend with some + temps on the cards.
