Ice Skating
Sign says it all really.
Today we had some challenging conditions on the hill.
Overnight snow was forecast but didn’t eventuate so the snow and soft slush from yesterday froze overnight and provided us with some mixed skiing conditions today.
Some runs had nice softish groomed snow, others had firm chunky snow, others had scrapped off icy patches and frozen groomed lines. After lunch some areas had softened and some remained hard and horrible. Today is the 1st time I have seen Ski Patrol take someone off the hill so that sums it up really.
