Lauren’s Arrived

The family swap was completed with Brent back in NZ and Lauren’s arrival in Rossland. She brought the snow with her and we woke to a nice 4cm covering the car and trees. It has snowed all day and looks like we have had around 20cm - is she the lucky charm I’m wondering (yes indeed). What a great start to the week.

Temps: Cooler today with -4C at the base and -14C at the top. We layered up this morning with plenty of merino on.

Snow Conditions: POW, POW, POW. With so much snow falling on the runs the snow was pushed up and choppy in the middle of the runs with silky untracked snow on the side of the runs. Bumps were fun and no trees were harmed today. Groups will be decided tomorrow with 20 boomers and 1 person under 30. Luckl’y the gal can cope with all us oldies talking her ear off on the chair lift.

Fog again
