A Big Day on the Hill

Blue Skies greeted me this morning when I arrived.

Well today we skied every lift @ Red. Yip all 6 of them. 1st up was Red Chair and old school lift from like the 50s I reckon. Next was Silverload the lift that connects to most of the other lifts. Then came Motherload which takes you over to ski the Paradise area on the hill. Then a couple of runs in the Paradise area where we grabbed some early lunch. Over to Grey after lunch then down to the new Topping Chair which is actually 2nd hand from Big White. Then back up Grey Chair and back down to the base. Whew thats a whole lot of skiing. Tad our Level 3 CSIA instructor has both Ian and Myself again this week. With only 2 in the group we are once again blasting the slopes and doing the miles.

We had a quick visit to Yodel Hut, tucked in the trees.

2 cm overnight provided a nice dusting on the groomers and in the trees and on the sides of the runs it was pretty sublime skiing. A good time was had on every run we did today.

Ready for action at the top of Grey Mountain.
