AJ the Popsicle

Freezing cloud provided some visability challenges this morning.

As you can imagine from todays title, things on the hill today were frozen.

This however only applied to our goggles, jackets and pants. The snow skied nicely on trail and the corduroy on Paradise was pretty fab early in the day. Even if you couldn’t see it thru frozen goggles it felt nice under those skis. With mild temps and lots of warm up runs I didn’t feel cold at all. Temps for the last few days have sat around the -6C overnight warming up to around 0C during the day. Certainly warmer than the -15C two weeks ago.

With 4 new comers to the group we all skied together this morning so Mark can place us in groups of similar ability. We have a new instructor joining us this week - Natalia an ex Russian ski team racer. She’s a beautiful skier and just so graceful to watch. We are lucky indeed to have such a qualified instructors taking our skiing to new heights.

I’ll keep you posted on what group I made it into.
