I Love Winter

Beautiful site this morning

As you all know Winter is my favourite time of the year, closely followed by Autumn.

Let me tell you why winter is so amazing.

1) You can wear all the garments you’ve spent the rest of the year knitting.

2) Skiing kicks in and wow.

3) The light is soft and mellow.

4). SNOW - everything looks better with a coat of the fluffy white stuff.

5). Wood burning fires. Man I love a good wood fire something very primal comes out in me.

6). Snuggly evenings spent with a good red wine hunkered down inside.

7). When the sun does shine the sky is an intense clear blue.

8). Knitting in front of the afore mentioned wood fire.

I have finally made it to Red Mountain. Cars unpacked and the fires going.

With yesterdays new snow the snow pack is now 80% of what it normally is. The course starts on Sunday so am hoping to ski tomorrow + Saturday to get those legs into action.
