Mogul Baddies
Morning ritual
The morning started with a slightly aggressive alarm clock from AJ - it has been suggested that she should change the ring tone, however this was promptly denied. Long may the frightening alarm live on.
We are often up and out the door at around 8 - for some of the teenagers in the group this is slightly earlier than preferable, however with a few grumbles we were only 5min late this morning.
Being whipped into shape
Day 5 for the powder princesses and legs were feeling slightly fatigued. It was mostly a groomer morning with a few mogul runs to warm the legs up.
The temperatures have been lovely recently, with a dip expected this weekend we are enjoying the last of the warmer weather and softer snow conditions. It is still holding up nicely, although i am now beginning to wonder if I will always think any snow that isn’t NZ snow is good.
In the evenings Ellie and I have managed to escape the mountain with enough time to have a look around Trail and Rossland. Yesterday we stumbled into a very cool and overwhelming second hand / sewing shop - not much was purchased but it was a very interesting outing!
Sewing centre
There is also a fab new bakery in Rossland, with amazing sourdough and salted chocolate cookies, so some delicious lunches will be had for the next few days. AJ will be living the dream with her daily sandwich service most mornings made by me!
Ski ya later xx
What a time for PJs
