Week 5

Tad with his thank you card from our group on Thursday night @ Taste of India Trail.

The pink ribbon is from the broken chair lift that smacked his head and got him seeing stars for a while. That chair should have been wrapped in DANGER tape not itsy bitsy pink tape. WTF.

My last week at Red starts tomorrow. This weekend is both Presidents Day for the US, and Family Day here in BC. This means the Mountain is packed so we have delayed our ski week by a day and will be skiing Tuesday to Friday this week.

Last week we rounded up a fab week of skiing by drinks at the Josie Hotel followed by the best butter chicken I can recall down in Trail at the Taste of India restaurant. Due to the fact that driving on the RHS of the road in a rental car makes me nervous, drinks currently for me are lemonade and Shirley Temples (Grace I don’t need a wine every night). Thanks to Ian for buying dinner for all 4 of us.

The forecast for the coming week is SNOW homies with around 10-15cm forecast on Tuesday/Wednesday followed by a cold snap and temps in the -15C range. I’ll have to get those thick thermals back on.

I am currently taking orders for YETI mugs/coffee cups to bring home. Txt me if you’d like one.
