Snow Needed please

Temp: +2 C at the base. Its warm baby and the snow is melting super fast.

Snow conditions lower on the Mountain

Visability: Mixed. The morning was nice and clear with a brillant pink and grey sunrise. Cloud moved in and spread across the Mountain. Some patches were good and others horrid. The light was somewhat flat all day. The grey Chair closed mid day because of wind.

Snow: At higher elevations and at Paradise Basin the snow skied great with a firm start it softened throughout the day. It never became slushy or sticky. Down at the base it was an entirely different scene with heavy spring like snow the last run of the day down to the base was survival skiing at its best. Light drizzle on the last run made seeing all that pushed up snow rather tricky.

Ski patrol have been busy marking hazards all over the mountain which are now popping up everywhere. Small creeks, scrapped off runs rocks, small trees and twigs.

Snow is forecast this weekend and temperatures are also dropping so fingers and toes crossed for some snow to cover some of those hazzards.
