Back @ Panorama
Look at that lovely packed powder & only me and the Crows to enjoy it
I was delighted to be back at Panorama today after my bummer of a day yesterday.
The skis were waxed overnight ready for some front side skiing.
No new snow here overnight but 8cm over the last 24hrs so that made for some nice funs turns in the Mid Mountain area with lower down near the base softening thru the day and chucking up some rumble groomers with scrapped off areas. This is spring after all.
Temps: -3C when i arrived warming up to +5C. Mid and upper mountain snow conditions are holding well with the 8cm recieved overnight and off trail looked pretty good too. Once again it was skin on/off all lifts which made for fast lap times. I will try to get stats for everyone tomorrow to prove to the folks back home that I don’t just come to Canada to knit in the condo. Brent leaves tomorrow to join me so that’s nice. I have lined up some Nordic Ski lessons for his 1st day here as a like WELCOME to Panorama. I’ll surly let you knot how those go.
This cat track run was pretty gnarly today. Teeth grinding stuff
