Snow weasel number 2 here featuring Wrinkly weasel (self appointed I may add), just back from another successful Japan excursion.

While it was a brief trip it was, as always, very enjoyable. We flew into Tokyo and after a rather exciting Shinkansen journey arrived in Hakuba.

Main Street in Echoland.

Hakuba is quite different to the fields in Hokkaido, in that it offers much more vertical and more ‘big mountain’ skiing. The mountains are very large with extensive terrain and lots of lift facilities. Unfortunately, like Hokkaido, it is overrun with Australians

The food is always a highlight in Japan and this held true during this trip, with ample Ramen and sponges consumed it was overall an amazing trip.
